Global access to fertility care, also for developed countries
This was the final conclusion of the TWE meeting on 24th and 25th of August 2015. The meeting reported in this text is one of the regular meetings, organized by the Walking Egg for discussion of an organizational strategy to increase access to fertility care, worldwide. During discussion, it turned out that there’s also a enormous need for affordable IVF in high income countries. Therefor, it was decided to contact insurance companies, policy makers,… in order to negotiate access to the local market. Beside this important decisions, other items where discussed: - Writing a Walking Handbook (diagnostic, stimulation and laboratory) - CE-marking - Start-up and rollout program for Ghana and Kenya - State of the art in the ZOL Lab.
