WHO recommendations for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infertility
Willem Ombelet was one of the 30 members of the Guideline Development Group (GDG), which included clinicians, researchers, implementers, and patient groups from different regions and with expertise in various topics related to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infertility.
Dr Ombelet chaired one of the four topics, namely “Unexplained factor infertility”.
The WHO guidelines were presented online on Friday, 26 November, and were followed by a large number of fertility specialists worldwide.
The recommendations of this guideline were published in Human Reproduction and Fertility and Sterility.
